Gynaecological oncology: This is a type of oncologists which deal with using all the three methods of treatment when it comes to women.

All oncologists are medical doctors who have to earn their degree as an MD or DO. After they have their degrees, oncologists must make sure that they have complete residency training which can help them have a speciality in this training as it allows one to choose the right type of oncology. Medical oncologists need to qualify first as interns or surgical residents on the department of oncology.

Employment of oncologists

Oncologists can practice on their own or as a part of group practice. They can easily get the opportunity to work in hospitals, medical and academic medicine. The paediatric and medical oncologists have to plan their career to ensure they reach the right field after completing their fellowship and graduating to other programs focusing on clinical practices.
